Stainless Steel Fully Encapsulated Rare Earth Magnets

The development of this kind of special magnet started with a cold call. An engineer from a famous pipeline company in Texas asked for help because some of their magnets are swollen. Refer to picture 1. By then that company was not our customer but we still sent an engineer from California to visit them.

This was a Neodymium Iron Boron ( NdFeB) magnet covered but not sealed by steel-plate and used in a sea water application. In other words, the NdFeB magnets were submerged in sea water. Refer to Picture 2.

Based on this, Stainless Steel Fully Encapsulated Rare Earth Magnets is developed. Refer to Picture 3.
